The Christmas Rush is OVER!

All the Christmas shoots have been done and booking has started for the new year. I have had a great time transitioning to Houston. My Client list is growing and I'm interested in looking into the art scene a little further. I may start spending some time on some personal work in the new year in preparation for an art show. I have had several people ask why I don't do any gallery shows. I think that is an area that I will explore in the new year. 2008 was all about transitions for our family and to some extent 2009 will still be that way but I will be working on settling into this area and making a name for myself here. I'm excited about the future! SO, here is a toast to ringing in the new year!

Swimming in Boxes...

I can't wait to get things unpacked here in Spring, TX. The move has been a lot of work but I really believe that this will be a wonderful adventure for all of us. I am looking forward to setting things up and pulling out my cameras!!! Of course getting settled will take a little while and I am up for the challege. We are already making a great deal of progress with all the boxes and getting the house in order. I have so many friends in this area that in a way it is like coming home for me. We will miss our friends in Dallas but I have let everyone know we have plenty of room for guests and there is no need to wait for a formal invitation to visit! We love our new home and it is wonderful to be near family! I will update with photos soon!

Just after we moved in we celebrated Fia's 1st birthday. The house was a wreck and it was HOT so we spent the day outside in the sprinkler!
